The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Symons tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mosby was well out of range. Poor timing from Symons.
Symons throws a hook but Mosby avoids it easily.
An inside leg kick from Mosby misses.

Mosby shoots in and bounces Symons off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mosby looking to sit in guard and control but Symons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Symons sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mosby's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Symons winds up and cracks Mosby with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Mosby wants to hit a switch here but Symons passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mosby there!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Symons looking to control but Mosby is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Symons connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
