Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yo Mommas Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yo Mommas Dog!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Brown!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog lands a nice looking kick to the body. Brown takes a step back to recover.
Dog misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Dog has closed the distance and engaged Brown in a clinch.

Brown manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Dog has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Brown has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dog is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Dog's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Brown throws the kick towards the body but Dog avoids it.
Dog doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.

Dog fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.

Dog has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Brown.
Brown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dog walks into a jab.
Brown throws an overhand right that lands on Dog's shoulder, as Dog tries to avoid the shot.
Dog stalks Brown and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brown's face. Brown staggers backwards, shaken.

Brown wants to control for a moment but Dog uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dog is looking to control Brown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dog avoid being mounted?

Brown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dog defends it well.
Dog wants to get back to his feet.

Well, if Brown is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Brown looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Brown is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dog can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
