Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Israel Moses!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hung Solo!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Solo with that takedown attempt.
Moses keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Solo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Solo misses with a two punch combination.

Solo clinches.
Solo prevents the takedown attempt.
Solo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Moses is defending well.
Israel Moses has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hung Solo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moses has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Solo is trying to keep an underhook but Moses manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Solo is trying to pull guard but Moses turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Moses gets underhooks to prevent Solo's takedown attempt.

Moses manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

A bit of stalling here from Solo.

Solo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Moses manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Solo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moses as he jumps to the side.
Moses throws a counter high kick but Solo was just alert enough to avoid it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Solo.

Solo has managed to clinch.
Solo wants to get back to striking at distance but Moses won't allow it.

Moses really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moses breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Solo has Moses up against the cage in a clinch.
Moses gets underhooks to prevent Solo's takedown attempt.
Solo is pressed up against the cage. Moses has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Solo down to the mat. Solo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Moses throws a series of punches but Solo moves out of range.

Solo shoots in and drives through. Moses sprawls well.
It looked like Moses was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Solo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moses sprawls well. Moses wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Solo gets slowly back to his feet.

Solo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Moses manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Solo has Moses in his guard.

Moses postures up and lands a big shot to Solo's brow.
Israel Moses overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Moses slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Moses will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Moses's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Moses's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Moses displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Solo.

Moses has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Solo regains guard immediately.
Moses slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Moses continues to stall.
Moses has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Moses stands and steps away. Solo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Solo has managed to clinch.

Moses turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Moses is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Moses decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Solo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Moses will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Solo up against the cage.
Solo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moses avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Moses pulls guard effortlessly.
Solo wants to pass the guard but Moses is keeping the position.
Moses has a closed guard, preventing Solo from standing up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Moses throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Moses, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
