Haarmann takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Haarmann feints and as Roads raises his hands in defense, Haarmann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Haarmann slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Haarmann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Roads is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Roads is looking to regain half guard here but Haarmann keeps moving and retains side control.

Haarmann has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Roads is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Haarmann yanks on the arm and Roads is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Haarmann.
