Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Solomon Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammad tests Wilson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Muhammad as he avoids it easily.
Muhammad is looking to counter the offense by Wilson and move into the clinch.
Wilson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Solomon Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Muhammad steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wilson.
Wilson looks to land a right hand but Muhammad moved out of range.
Wilson misses with an uppercut. Muhammad saw that one coming.
Muhammad is looking to counter the offense by Wilson and move into the clinch.
Wilson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wilson throws a low kick but Muhammad moves out of range easily.
Muhammad throws a series of punches but Wilson avoids them all with ease.
Wilson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Muhammad counters by moving into the clinch.
Wilson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Muhammad lands with a left to the head.
Muhammad lands a body shot.
Wilson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Muhammad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away.
Muhammad connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Muhammad is fending him off so far but Wilson persists. Nope, Muhammad circles away and we're back to standing.
Muhammad throws out a loose jab but Wilson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wilson throws a lazy uppercut
and Wilson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wilson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Muhammad connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wilson is rocked!
Mehmet Muhammad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solomon Wilson.
Muhammad grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Wilson takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Muhammad cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mehmet Muhammad!
