Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Corozzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Halo's choice of entrance music: Motorhead - The King Of Kings. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Salvatore Corozzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Halo!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corozzo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Halo is able to avoid easily.
Corozzo lands with an uppercut that bounces Halo off the cage and back into range.
Halo shoots for a double leg takedown but Corozzo sprawls well. He's pushed Halo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Corozzo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Halo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Corozzo defends well and Halo ends up having to push Corozzo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Corozzo is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Corozzo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Halo under the eye.
Halo lunges at Corozzo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Corozzo's hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Halo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Corozzo is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Halo throws a strike but Corozzo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Corozzo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Halo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corozzo has managed to get both his arms back between Halo's legs - danger averted.

Corozzo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Corozzo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Halo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Corozzo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Halo.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Corozzo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Halo's shoulder. That is not cool.
Halo is looking to regain half guard here but Corozzo keeps moving and retains side control.

Halo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Halo shoots in looking for a takedown. Corozzo tries to sprawl out of it but Halo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Corozzo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Halo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Corozzo is looking to wear down Halo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Halo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Corozzo was covering up waiting for the punch and Halo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Corozzo continues to stall.
Halo wants to escape the position.
Arthur Halo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Corozzo just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
