The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nigels sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Nigels looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Poole lands a jab to the nose.
Nigels on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Poole scores with a jab to the body.
Poole scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kris Nigels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Poole counters with a head kick that drops Nigels to the mat! Nigels scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Nigels is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Poole connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nigels - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

A less than humble Stacey Poole misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
