The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballinger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Urhola sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ballinger has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ballinger throws a poor cross that misses
and Urhola makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ballinger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ballinger looks to throw the jab but Urhola is out of range.
Urhola ducks under a wild hook from Ballinger.
Ballinger lands a glancing blow to the side of Urhola's head.

It looks like Veli Urhola has been cut.

and Urhola counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ballinger connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Urhola's hands.
Ballinger misses with a series of wild punches.

and Urhola counters with a nice body shot.
Urhola moves away from the strike by Ballinger.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Urhola! But no joy.
Urhola throws an overhand right that lands on Ballinger's shoulder, as Ballinger tries to avoid the shot.
Urhola gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Urhola looks winded!

Ballinger throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ballinger! Urhola is out on his feet! Ballinger rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Urhola is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Urhola is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
