Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Captain Boromir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Mironov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boromir comes to the cage accompanied by Møme – Aloha. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mironov's choice of entrance music: Down by Law - by Madball. Captain Boromir has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Captain Boromir!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergei Mironov!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boromir throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mironov! But no joy.
Mironov cracks Boromir with an open hand slap.
Mironov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Boromir counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boromir looks to land a right hand but Mironov moved out of range.
Mironov shoots in looking for a takedown but Boromir manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mironov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mironov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Boromir is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mironov off and has taken his back!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mironov wants to get back to his feet.
Boromir just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mironov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Boromir's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mironov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boromir tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mironov is in Boromir's guard.
