PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rich Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olympia Unchained (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unchained has chosen Murphy Lee (feat. King Jacob & Prentiss Church) - Stomp (Explicit) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Olympia Unchained!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Junior.
Junior shoots in for a takedown but Unchained shows good takedown defense.
Unchained was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Unchained lands a head shot.
Unchained lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Junior is looking to clinch but Unchained is avoiding it.
Junior shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Unchained defends it nicely.
Unchained tries a quick counter leg kick but Junior is wise to it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Junior fails with the takedown.

Junior shoots in and bounces Unchained off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Junior postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Unchained is on top in guard.

Junior is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Junior is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Junior keeping moving, preventing Unchained from controlling successfully.

Junior has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Unchained can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Unchained not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Junior is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Unchained told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Junior wants to sweep but no luck.

Junior escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Unchained gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Unchained wants to control from the top but Junior keeps moving.

Unchained avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Unchained trying to control the position from guard on top but Junior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Junior avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Unchained must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Junior has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Unchained should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Junior has tightened it up now! Unchained should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
