The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holzken throws a lazy right hand but Wax sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Holzken scores with a hook.
Wax takes a swing at Holzken's ribcage but misses.
Holzken throws an overhand right that lands on Wax's shoulder, as Wax tries to avoid the shot.
It looked like Wax wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Holzken uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wax.
Holzken ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wax moves away.
Wax pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Holzken waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wax.

Holzken slips a straight right by Wax.

Wax loads up on a big right hand but Holzken slips the punch.

Wax is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Holzken.

A lazy left from Wax finds it's target.
Holzken closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wax to the mat! Wax manages to get full guard.
Holzken drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holzken jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Holzken stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wax swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wax is looking for a triangle here but Holzken uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

After the fight, Rodney Holzken was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
