The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trash cracks the inside of Shango's front leg.
Trash is looking to score with low kicks.
Shango attempts a counter takedown but Trash avoids it well and moves away.
Trash connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Trash throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shango stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trash.
Trash uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Shango is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trash is just riding it out for now. Shango eventually gives up the hold.

Papa Shango decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
