Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eldridge Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukasz Patrykowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lukasz Patrykowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eldridge Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lukasz Patrykowski!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a series of punches but Patrykowski moves out of range.

Patrykowski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Patrykowski is looking for a kimura but Anderson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Patrykowski to get the leverage.

Anderson tries to kick Patrykowski off in order to stand up. Patrykowski Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Anderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Anderson is looking to stand up but Patrykowski isn't so interested in that idea.

Anderson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Anderson is nestled in close to Patrykowski, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Anderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Patrykowski to the mat! Patrykowski manages to get full guard.

Anderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Patrykowski circles away quickly and effectively.

Anderson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Patrykowski has picked Anderson up and slammed him! Anderson can't keep hold of the triangle and Patrykowski manages to pass to side control!
Anderson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Anderson is not content to let Patrykowski control the position.

Patrykowski looks up at the clock and then as Anderson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Patrykowski smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Anderson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Patrykowski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Anderson pushes Patrykowski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Patrykowski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well Anderson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
