Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Margarito Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altin Brcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Margarito Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Altin Brcic!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brcic tries to keep at a distance but Thomas has taken the fight into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Thomas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Brcic successfully pulls guard.
Brcic wants to control the position but Thomas says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Thomas seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Thomas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thomas takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brcic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thomas is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thomas decides to stand back up. Thomas steps back and let's Brcic get back to his feet.
Altin Brcic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brcic is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thomas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Brcic clinches with his opponent.

Thomas jumps guard and drags Brcic to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Brcic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Brcic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brcic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Thomas has his hands on Brcic's head, controlling the position.

Thomas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brcic is aware though and is defending well.

Thomas tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Brcic enables Thomas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Brcic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Thomas won't allow Brcic to sweep him here.

That was a close round but I would say that Margarito Thomas will probably get the nod.

Brcic shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Thomas is trying to defend but Brcic finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Thomas is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brcic lands a nice short elbow.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Margarito Thomas.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thomas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
