The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels tries to score a power double leg takedown but Maynard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daniels somewhat.
Maynard unleashes a big counter combination but Daniels bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
