The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe swinging wildly here.
Norris scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Norris tries to land a front kick but Joe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Norris throws a half hearted mid kick.
Joe is looking for the big counter here.

Joe shoots in and bounces Norris off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Norris wriggles free and stands up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Norris has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Joe is on him like a limpet, forcing Norris back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Norris is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Still in the clinch, Joe scores with a nice short uppercut.

Joe drags the fight down to the ground.
Joe lands an upkick as Norris stands over him.
Joe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Joe is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Norris is controlling him.

Norris stands up and waves to Joe to follow him.

Oooooh!!! Joe has knocked Norris down with a huge combo! Joe steps away and waves a wobbly Norris back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Norris is rocked!

It looks like Ezekiel Norris has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Joe goes for a small jab and connects. Now Joe goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Norris stumbles back but Joe runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Norris to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Norris will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
