Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between MoMo ElSahla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malachi Tehuti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MoMo ElSahla looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ElSahla lands a two punch combo.
ElSahla shoots in for a double leg but Tehuti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
ElSahla throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tehuti.
Tehuti tries to counter with a clinch but ElSahla shakes him off and moves away.

ElSahla misses with a head kick.

ElSahla drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tehuti pulls his leg out and moves away.

ElSahla shoots in but no luck this time.
A nice side step and Tehuti releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Tehuti lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

ElSahla tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tehuti swivels and escapes.

and Tehuti counters with a series of strikes. ElSahla will be more careful next time no doubt.
ElSahla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tehuti tries to counter by closing the distance.
ElSahla throws a left and a right that both miss

and Tehuti counters with a nice right hand that sends ElSahla toppling to the canvas! ElSahla scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tehuti finish him?!

ElSahla is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
ElSahla fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Tehuti's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Oh ElSahla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

ElSahla closes the distance and clinches up with Tehuti, looking for a takedown. ElSahla pushes Tehuti against the cage but Tehuti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
ElSahla seems to have got his legs back now.
ElSahla throws a head kick that misses
and Tehuti counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts ElSahla off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Tehuti follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but ElSahla was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Malachi Tehuti!
