The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firpo tried to score with a low kick but Connecticut checks it.

Firpo throws a body punch but Connecticut moves out of range.
Firpo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Connecticut.

Firpo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Connecticut stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Firpo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Connecticut has time to react.

Connecticut looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Firpo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A big strike lands for Connecticut! That's really hurt Firpo and he's turned his back - Connecticut keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Connecticut jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
