PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reyn Godrigueze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Baka Survivor. Aoki Aoki had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Aoki enables Godrigueze to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aoki manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Aoki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Godrigueze can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Godrigueze got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aoki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Godrigueze has managed to get both his arms back between Aoki's legs - danger averted.

Godrigueze postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Aoki on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Aoki doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Reyn Godrigueze spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
