Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Tetsuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Surov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Surov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Amphetamines kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tetsuo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Surov misses with a straight right.
Tetsuo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Surov was well out of range. Poor timing from Tetsuo.
Tetsuo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Surov moves away.
Tetsuo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Surov takes a swing at Tetsuo's ribcage but misses.
Tetsuo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jurgen Tetsuo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tetsuo shoots in looking for a takedown but Surov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tetsuo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tetsuo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Tetsuo is taking a breather. Surov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Surov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tetsuo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tetsuo's back!

A looping hook to the body misses from Surov. Tetsuo does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Tetsuo and Surov goes tumbling to the canvas! Tetsuo follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Surov seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee asks Tetsuo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tetsuo prefers to stall for the moment though.
