Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Micheal Richards!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards throws a right hand that Terry ducks under and follows up with a left that Terry also avoids with ease.
Richards throws a right and a left that Terry avoids nicely.
Terry is looking to counter with head kicks.
Richards misses with a left hand

and Terry moves into the clinch.

Richards ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Richards no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Terry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Richards escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Terry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Richards is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Terry postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Richards is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Terry, into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Terry is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Richards loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Terry has momentary wrist control but Richards slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like Odell Terry has been cut.
Richards working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Terry's head.

Richards arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Terry's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
