The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Ferrara or perhaps it was just good defense by Ali, which made it look bad.
Ali bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ferrara's head.
Ferrara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ferrara fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Ali is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Ferrara is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferrara's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ali connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ferrara scrambles back to his feet.

Ali creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ferrara with a big uppercut! Ferrara tries to clinch up but Ali pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ferrara to the mat! Ferrara covers up and Ali unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
