Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jolly Leg Byrd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunter Vogler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vogler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Byrd enables Vogler to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Byrd manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Vogler is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Byrd defends well.

Vogler looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Byrd has picked Vogler up and slammed him! Vogler can't keep hold of the triangle and Byrd manages to pass to side control!

Vogler is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Byrd off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

That was a close round but I would say that Jolly Leg Byrd will probably get the nod.
