Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Gero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessandro Colombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Nathan Gero has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alessandro Colombo!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gero displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Colombo.
Colombo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gero but Gero pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Colombo closes the distance and clinches up with Gero, looking for a takedown. Colombo pushes Gero against the cage but Gero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nathan Gero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alessandro Colombo.
Gero will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Colombo looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Colombo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gero on his heels. He'll look to pass Gero's guard now, I'm sure.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Colombo and the ref steps in to end the fight! Colombo can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
