Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Houston Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Low Qui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acosta misses with a lunging right hand
and Qui counters with a three punch combo that has Acosta backing up. Acosta nods at Qui to acknowledge the strikes.
Qui dodges the punch combination from Acosta.
Despite the aggression on Qui's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Qui gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Acosta tries to score a body lock takedown but Qui shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Qui missing with knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Qui escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Low Qui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Acosta doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Qui counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Acosta throws a poor cross that misses
and Qui counters with a stiff right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Acosta does no damage.

Qui instigates a clinch.
A hook to the body from Qui.

Qui has clasped his hands together around Acosta's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Acosta takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Acosta is rocked!
Qui moves into full mount!
Oh Acosta is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Qui postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Acosta in real trouble here! The ref calls for Acosta to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
