Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erin Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle MacMoir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle MacMoir!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacMoir will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A nice combination there by MacMoir.
MacMoir lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
MacMoir scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
MacMoir lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
MacMoir throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Malone is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from MacMoir.

and Malone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
MacMoir tries to stall but Malone uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Malone has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics MacMoir uses from the top position.

Let's hope that MacMoir has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Malone is pushing MacMoir up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Malone seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Malone jumps guard but MacMoir turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Malone tries to close the distance and clinch up but MacMoir swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Malone stands and steps away. MacMoir gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Malone moves in looking to clinch but MacMoir pushes him off.
And MacMoir tries to counter it with a takedown but Malone pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Malone fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
MacMoir throws a right and a left that Malone avoids nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

MacMoir gets tackled into the cage by Malone. Malone maintains the clinch.

Malone ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Malone no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

MacMoir feints a jab promting Malone to slip. MacMoir then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Malone slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Malone checks a leg kick.

Malone is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in MacMoir's half guard.
Malone is trying to control the action in half guard but MacMoir is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kyle MacMoir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

MacMoir rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Malone moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
As MacMoir tries to get set, Malone tries to push him back and clinch up but MacMoir manages to avoid the attempt.
