Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vince Tillman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Roosy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vince Tillman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, JJ Roosy!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tillman gets caught flat footed, as Roosy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tillman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Roosy controls the pace.
Roosy scoring with punches to the head and body.
Roosy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Roosy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Tillman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roosy postures up and lands a big shot to Tillman's brow.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tillman looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Roosy passes into side control.
Roosy moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Roosy stands up.

Tillman gets caught napping as Roosy dives in and scores a takedown. Tillman manages to retain guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Roosy controlling from the top position.
Tillman wants to sweep here but Roosy controlling him for the moment.
Tillman wants to stand up but Roosy is controlling him.
Roosy is working Tillman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Roosy sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tillman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roosy on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tillman has a closed guard, preventing Roosy from standing up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Roosy content to stall in guard here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tillman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Roosy throws out a counter right but Tillman avoids it with no problem.
JJ Roosy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tillman tries to keep at a distance but Roosy has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Tillman jumps guard and drags Roosy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Roosy is stalling in the full guard.
Tillman can't keep his opponent in guard - Roosy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tillman tries to kick Roosy off in order to stand up. Roosy Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Roosy trying to control the position but Tillman is working away.
Roosy working the head and body with strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JJ Roosy dominated that round.
That's time! Tillman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Roosy shoots in and gets a takedown into Tillman's guard.
Roosy stays in close to Tillman's body and controls the position.
Roosy throwing strikes but missing.
Tillman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Roosy is controlling him.

Roosy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tillman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tillman has escaped and now he's on top!

Roosy wants to sweep here but Tillman controlling him for the moment.

Tillman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Roosy pulls Tillman in close to his closed guard and prevents Tillman from doing any damage or advancing position.

Tillman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Roosy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tillman is looking to defend but Roosy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tillman! Roosy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tillman taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). JJ Roosy!
