PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Shore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jordan Shore has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jordan Shore seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Carver!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shore tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carver was well out of range. Poor timing from Shore.
Shore jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Shore slips under a jab.
Shore throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carver is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Shore will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jordan Shore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I was talking to Shore's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Carver jumps guard but Shore stands there with Carver around his waist. Carver gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
