Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Neil Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otavio Ikuhisa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neil Hendricks is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Neil Hendricks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Otavio Ikuhisa!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ikuhisa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hendricks to the ground. Ikuhisa is now in Hendricks's guard.
Ikuhisa lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Hendricks utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ikuhisa drops back looking for a leg! Hendricks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hendricks manages to kick Ikuhisa off! Ikuhisa jumps back into Hendricks's guard.

Ikuhisa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ikuhisa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hendricks swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hendricks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hendricks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ikuhisa on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ikuhisa is stalling in the full guard.
Let's hope that Ikuhisa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ikuhisa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hendricks tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ikuhisa is in Hendricks's guard.
Ikuhisa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hendricks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ikuhisa is working Hendricks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ikuhisa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ikuhisa is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Hendricks is in real trouble.

Ikuhisa has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Hendricks's body.

Ikuhisa is looking for the choke from the back position but Hendricks is controlling his hands well.

Otavio Ikuhisa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ikuhisa remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Ikuhisa throws a sloppy head kick and Hendricks moves out of range easily.
Hendricks wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Ikuhisa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hendricks to the mat! Hendricks manages to get full guard.
Ikuhisa controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Ikuhisa.

Well Ikuhisa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
