The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camble throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De La Cruz tries to counter with a takedown but Camble is quick to defend against it.
We've been informed that Camble has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Camble counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

De La Cruz shoots in looking for a takedown. Camble tries to sprawl out of it but De La Cruz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Camble manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Camble has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
