Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Genghis Kram!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kram misses with a series of wild punches.
Wheeler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kram throws a right hand that Wheeler ducks under and follows up with a left that Wheeler also avoids with ease.
Wheeler is looking for a counter combo.
A swing and a miss from Kram.
Wheeler seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Wheeler gets tackled into the cage by Kram. Kram maintains the clinch.

Wheeler successfully pulls guard.
Wheeler trying to strike off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wheeler throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wheeler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kram ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kram connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Genghis Kram is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kram moves into range and clinches up with Wheeler.
Wheeler can't get the takedown.
Wheeler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kram controlling the action here for a moment.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Wheeler as Kram tries to tie him up.

Wheeler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kram throws a right hand that Wheeler ducks under and follows up with a left that Wheeler also avoids with ease.

Wheeler avoids the head kick by Kram.
Kram lands with a nice combination. Wheeler backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Bret Wheeler has been cut.
Kram works Wheeler's body with a nice hook.
Wheeler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kram.
As Kram looks to move away, Wheeler throws a big counter combo but Kram just gets out of the way.
Genghis Kram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kram misses with a few strikes there.

Wheeler has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wheeler is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bret Wheeler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kram gets underhooks to prevent Wheeler's takedown attempt.
Kram avoiding damage.
Wheeler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kram walks away with a smile on his face. Wheeler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kram feints a jab promting Wheeler to slip. Kram then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wheeler slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wheeler appears to be looking for a big counter.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kram drives through and clinches with Wheeler against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Genghis Kram dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bret Wheeler's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Kram throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kram throws a right hand that Wheeler ducks under and follows up with a left that Wheeler also avoids with ease.

Kram has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kram is trying to force a seperation but Wheeler has the dominant position.
A right handed body shot lands from Kram.
Wheeler has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kram after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kram prevents a takedown attempt there.

Kram lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wheeler backs up against the cage.
