The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ruttenum.
Ruttenum darts in looking for a takedown but Kid gets double underhooks and turns Ruttenum into the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A nice left hand lands by Kid.
Kid lands with a short shot to the head.
Kid scores with a shot to the side of Ruttenum's head.
Kid scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kid lands with a left to the head.
Ruttenum is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kid is defending well.
Kid digs a right hand underneath Ruttenum's ribcage. Ruttenum let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Ruttenum tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kid avoids it.
Kid stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Kid pushes Ruttenum back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Kid throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Kid lands with a light punch inside.
Kid works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Kid lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Ruttenum.
Kid lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kid pushes Ruttenum back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kid cracks Ruttenum with a nice body shot.
Ruttenum takes a shot to the head.

Kid drops Ruttenum onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Ruttenum is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
