Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Davenport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kozlov has chosen Highway to Hell as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davenport looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kozlov is fending him off so far but Davenport persists. Nope, Kozlov circles away and we're back to standing.
Kozlov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kozlov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kozlov stands up over Davenport, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Davenport looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kozlov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Davenport was covering up waiting for the punch and Kozlov finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Elvis Davenport.
