The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rizzo finds it's way round the side to connect with Souza's head.
Rizzo lands a nice looking body shot.
Rizzo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Souza with a lazy takedown attempt
and Souza takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Souza takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rizzo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rizzo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rizzo stalks Souza and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Souza's face. Souza staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Souza takes one to the chin there.

Souza walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Rizzo swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
