Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Denis Cutesic Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Dukes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dukes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cutesic Junior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dukes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cutesic Junior tries to avoid it but Dukes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cutesic Junior to the ground. Cutesic Junior escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dukes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dukes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cutesic Junior does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
