The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A big right from Magomedov misses.
Lopez moves away from the strike by Magomedov.
Lopez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Magomedov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lopez lands a nice shot to the body.
Magomedov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Rashid Magomedov has been cut.

and Lopez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Magomedov throws the left hand but Lopez avoids the punch easily.
Magomedov's corner calls for a 1-2. Magomedov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lopez drops Magomedov with a beautiful combination! Magomedov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lopez is looking for the KO!

It looked like Lopez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Lopez is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Lopez cracks a nice hook into Magomedov's ribs.
Magomedov leaves his chin hanging out and Lopez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Magomedov crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
