The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Country missing with a left hand there. Faulkner was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Faulkner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Country.

Country throws a body shot but no joy.

Faulkner closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Country did well to prevent Faulkner getting side control.

Country had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Faulkner defends it easily.

Country has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Faulkner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Faulkner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Country remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Country is taking a breather. Faulkner says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Big Country showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Faulkner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Country manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Faulkner has Country in his guard.

Big Country comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Country has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
