Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elisha Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clark could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rogan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Clark manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rogan has Clark in his guard.

Clark throws a wild body kick that Rogan sees coming a mile off.

Rogan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Clark sneaks out the side door and pushes Rogan away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Clark tries to bum rush Rogan with a series of wild strikes but Rogan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rogan replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Clark blocks it well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rogan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rogan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Clark is now in Rogan's guard. A big mistake from Rogan there, giving up the dominant position!
Clark postures up in Rogan's guard and throws a big left but Rogan blocks it.

Rogan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Clark has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Elisha Clark overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Clark has gone for a leg lock! Rogan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Clark's guard.

Rogan throws a big right hand that misses.
Clark might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Clark can't keep his opponent in guard - Rogan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Rogan controls Clark momentarily but Clark frees himself.
Clark stops Rogan from standing up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rogan is trying to control the position but Clark postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rogan scrambles and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Rogan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
