The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basayev takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Aleksey Basayev has been cut.
Cheese lands a nice hook to Basayev's body. Basayev takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Basayev misses with a straight right.
Cheese throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Basayev on the side of the head.
Cheese lands a big right hand that sends Basayev crashing to the mat! Cheese stays standing though and waves Basayev back to his feet!
Basayev is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cheese ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oh Basayev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Basayev is breathing heavily.
Basayev is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Cheese doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Basayev crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Basayev's bad books for that mishap!
