Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Holland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Second (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Holland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Second!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Second bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holland manages to get back to half guard.
Ground and pound from Second.
Second looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Holland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Second stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Holland to get to his feet.

Holland is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Second's half guard.
Holland is keen to just control but Second is a slippery customer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Second dives in for a single leg takedown but Holland sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Second enables Holland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Second manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Second is pulling down on Holland's head. It's preventing any offense from Holland, at least for the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Holland is refusing to be controlled, as Second sits in half guard.
Holland is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Holland is looking to escape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Second is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Second is defended easily by Holland.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Jake Second will probably get the nod.

Second looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Holland with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Holland is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Second can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Holland has hold of Second's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Second manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Holland has control of Second's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Second regains control of the situation pretty easily.
