Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Leduc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus slips a jab from Leduc.
Maximus is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Joe Leduc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leduc will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Maximus throws a hook but Leduc avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Leduc lands an impressive looking overhand right. Maximus doesn't seem phased though.

Maximus throws a quick counter kick to the body but Leduc avoids it.

Maximus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Maximus sends Leduc crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Maximus is motioning to the referee to let Leduc up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Leduc lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Maximus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Maximus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Maximus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Leduc was well out of range. Poor timing from Maximus.
And Leduc tries to counter it with a takedown but Maximus pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Leduc throws the left hand but Maximus avoids the punch easily.
Leduc sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Maximus clinches up with Leduc and pushes him back against the cage.

Maximus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Maximus swings for the body but Leduc moves out of range.

and Maximus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The fighters circle momentarily. Maximus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Maximus tries to clinch up but Leduc circles away and keeps his distance.
Leduc lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maximus circles away quickly and effectively.

A little feinted left hand from Maximus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Maximus feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leduc sprawling to the canvas! Leduc rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maximus finish him?!
Leduc is still on wobbly legs! Can Maximus finish him?
Leduc is breathing heavily.

and Maximus counters with a right hand to the body.
Leduc seems to have recovered his senses.
Leduc slips under a jab from Maximus.
Maximus weaves into range and cracks Leduc right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Leduc goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Maximus is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
