Williams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Black Street - No Diggity. Cox is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lituation-Fabolous. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox throws a body kick that misses.
Williams tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Cox manages to circle out of the way.
Williams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cox but Cox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Williams fails with the takedown
and Cox counters with a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Williams.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Cox does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cox avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams wants to clinch
and Cox counters with a nice uppercut.
A jab from Cox finds it's way through Williams's defenses.
A head kick from Cox lands but Williams takes it in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cox throws a big counter head kick but Williams avoids it with no problem.
Cox lands a big head kick that sends Williams to the canvas! Cox follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Reuben Cox thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
