The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smutts shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hull tries to counter by clinching up but Smutts breaks away and moves out of range.
Smutts throws a head kick but Hull moves out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smutts is defended easily by Hull.
A head kick misses from Smutts.
Smutts swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hull closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Smutts's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
