Bickle comes to the cage accompanied by Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taiga Jim!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bickle misses.
Bickle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jim shoots in and gets a takedown into Bickle's guard.
Bickle controls Jim momentarily but Jim frees himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bickle is looking for a sweep. Jim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jim lands a nice short elbow.
Jim thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bickle's head.
Bickle tries to get to full guard but Jim has control of the leg.
Bickle is positioning himself well to prevent Jim advancing to mount.
Jim seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jim tries to pass to full mount but Bickle defends it.

Jim takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Jim looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jim connects with a high kick.


It looks like Travis Bickle has been cut.
Bickle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jim.
Jim stuffs the takedown attempt from Bickle. Bickle gets slowly back to his feet.
Bickle circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bickle is defended easily by Jim.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Bickle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bickle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jim was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Jim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bickle.
As Bickle backs off Jim throws a huge counter combo but Bickle manages to avoid it all.
Bickle scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bickle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bickle tries to clinch but Jim is having none of it.

Jim rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bickle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bickle misses with a body shot.

Jim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bickle's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bickle not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jim sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Bickle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bickle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bickle sprawls well initially but Jim persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jim has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Let's hope that Jim has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jim is trying to control the action in half guard but Bickle is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jim prevents Bickle from improving his position.
Jim wants to take a breather but Bickle is having none of it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jim scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bickle doesn't seem bothered though.

and Jim counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Jim throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bickle looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bickle throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Some bone on bone action there as Jim checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Travis Bickle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jim works Bickle's body with a nice hook.

Taiga Jim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Bickle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Taiga Jim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jim has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
