Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Snarf Reed!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Ginsburg lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reed backs up against the cage.


It looks like Snarf Reed has been cut.
Van Ginsburg looks to score with a jab to the body but Reed is just out of range.
Van Ginsburg throws a nice looking combination but Reed bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Van Ginsburg swings for the body but Reed moves out of range.
Reed moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.


It looks like Max Van Ginsburg has been cut.
Reed tests Van Ginsburg's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Reed's coach down at Kung Fu Fighting Club ($299 entry fee) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Reed's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Van Ginsburg throws a series of punches but Reed moves out of range.
Van Ginsburg uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Reed scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Van Ginsburg cracks Reed with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Van Ginsburg misses with a double jab.
Reed dodges the punch combination from Van Ginsburg.
A little jabbing left from Reed on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Reed feints and then cracks Van Ginsburg's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Van Ginsburg down.
Van Ginsburg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Double XX in the buildup to the fight.
Van Ginsburg takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Reed cracks Van Ginsburg with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Reed throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Reed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Van Ginsburg scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reed in his tracks.
Van Ginsburg closes the distance and lands a one-two.


Reed is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Van Ginsburg cracks Reed's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Reed slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Van Ginsburg can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Max Van Ginsburg!
