Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Suleijma Tudekiks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ante Gotovina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Suleijma Tudekiks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ante Gotovina!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotovina throws a solid leg kick but Tudekiks takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gotovina.
Tudekiks misses with a wild combination.

Gotovina shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tudekiks napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gotovina is working Tudekiks over with some ground and pound from side control.
Gotovina wants to control but Tudekiks is keeping him busy.
Tudekiks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gotovina on the ground.
Tudekiks is pushing Gotovina's head away, looking to escape. Gotovina manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tudekiks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gotovina throws a front kick aimed at Tudekiks's knee but Tudekiks avoids it well.
Tudekiks is looking for a counter combo.
Gotovina has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tudekiks finds it's way round the side to connect with Gotovina's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gotovina has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gotovina shoots in and drives through. Tudekiks sprawls well.
Tudekiks throws out a leg kick but Gotovina moves out of range and Tudekiks only half commits.
Gotovina goes for a double leg but Tudekiks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tudekiks continues to drive forward.

Gotovina wants to counter the offense by Tudekiks and move into the clinch position.

Gotovina fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tudekiks.
Tudekiks throws a right and a left that Gotovina avoids nicely.

Gotovina throws a body shot but no joy.

Tudekiks closes the distance and clinches.
Tudekiks's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

It looks like Suleijma Tudekiks has been cut.
Tudekiks blocking some punches.
Gotovina is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Tudekiks is defending well.
Suleijma Tudekiks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ante Gotovina.
Gotovina changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tudekiks fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gotovina changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tudekiks tries to avoid it but Gotovina manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tudekiks to the ground. Tudekiks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gotovina fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tudekiks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tudekiks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gotovina can pounce on him.
Tudekiks scores with a hook to the body. Gotovina takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tudekiks throws a body punch but Gotovina moves out of range.

Gotovina forces Tudekiks back against the cage and clinches.
Tudekiks tries to land a knee to the head but Gotovina blocks with his arms.

Tudekiks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Gotovina shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tudekiks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Gotovina is working Tudekiks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Tudekiks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tudekiks wants to stand and escape but Gotovina is having none of it.
Gotovina throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Gotovina stops Tudekiks from standing up.
Gotovina distracts Tudekiks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Gotovina has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gotovina stands up over Tudekiks, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Gotovina slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tudekiks has momentary wrist control but Gotovina slips an elbow through the middle.
Tudekiks wants to stand and escape but Gotovina is having none of it.
Gotovina lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Tudekiks is rocked!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gotovina's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Oh Tudekiks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gotovina gets to his feet and stands over Tudekiks, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tudekiks felt that one! Gotovina unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tudekiks from any more punishment!
