The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kambosos Jr misses with the body kick
and Santiago counters with a single leg into guard. Kambosos Jr didn't expect that.
Kambosos Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Santiago trying to control the position from guard on top but Kambosos Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Santiago wants to stand but Kambosos Jr is controlling his posture from full guard.
Santiago wants to pass the guard but Kambosos Jr is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kambosos Jr is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Santiago presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Santiago jumps guard.
Santiago is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Santiago is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kambosos Jr throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Santiago's body to avoid the submission. Santiago has instead reached around Kambosos Jr's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Santiago arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
