Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Pera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Flux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Pera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dante Flux!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Pera misses.
Flux misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pera.
Flux has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pera.
Flux scores with a sloppy right hand. Pera should have avoided that one.
Flux throws a head kick that Pera semi-blocks.

It looks like Pekka Pera has been cut.
Dante Flux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pera wants to clinch.
Flux feints the counter takedown.
Flux throws a leg kick which misses Pera's front leg but catches the back leg as Pera tries to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Flux counters with a series of strikes. Pera will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pera tries to clinch up but Flux circles away and keeps his distance.
Flux stuffs the takedown attempt from Pera. Pera gets slowly back to his feet.
Flux let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Flux scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Pera seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

and Flux counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Flux walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pera checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Pera is looking to counter the offense by Flux and move into the clinch.

Pera stuffs the takedown attempt from Flux. Flux gets slowly back to his feet.
Flux is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Flux feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Flux controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Pera pulls Flux in to control the position.
Flux is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Flux wants to control from the top but Pera keeps moving.
Pera might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pera wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Flux is now in half guard.

Flux working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Flux has an Americana. Pera didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Flux is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Flux hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
