Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Bonesaw McGraw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darrell Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGraw on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


It looks like Bonesaw McGraw has been cut.
Abbott looks to score with a jab to the body but McGraw is just out of range.
Abbott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Darrell Abbott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGraw avoids the head kick by Abbott.
A thudding body kick lands there by McGraw!
Abbott lands a nice shot that snaps McGraw's head back.

Abbott lands a big uppercut and McGraw crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McGraw looks OK. Abbott waves McGraw back to his feet!


McGraw is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGraw comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McGraw slips a jab from Abbott.
McGraw feinted with a counter takedown.
Abbott misses with a body kick.
McGraw has a takedown stuffed.
Abbott tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Abbott fails to land with a series of punches.
McGraw feints a jab promting Abbott to slip. McGraw then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Abbott slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Darrell Abbott has been cut.
McGraw looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McGraw throws a nice outside leg kick.
Abbott fails in his attempt to clinch.

Abbott misses with a head kick.
Abbott throws an off balance right hand
and McGraw counters with a leg kick.
Abbott misses with a series of wild punches.
A decent looking body kick lands there for McGraw.
Abbott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McGraw pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Abbott checks a leg kick nicely.
Abbott throws a big counter head kick but McGraw avoids it with no problem.
McGraw swings for the body but Abbott moves out of range.
McGraw scores with a jab to the body.
Abbott chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McGraw can pounce on him.
Abbott throws a right and a left that McGraw avoids nicely.
Nice uppercut lands for Abbott. That snapped McGraw's head back.
McGraw lands with a kick to the ribs.
McGraw lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Abbott closes the distance and lands a one-two.


Bonesaw McGraw's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abbott tries to clinch but McGraw is having none of it.
McGraw is looking to counter punch.
Abbott keeps McGraw at a distance using the push kick.
Abbott tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McGraw swivels and escapes.
McGraw throws a series of punches but Abbott avoids them all with ease.
A nice inside leg kick there by McGraw. That's going to slow Abbott down.
McGraw thumps Abbott with a low kick.
Abbott avoids the head kick by McGraw.
Abbott throws a hook but McGraw blocks it.
Abbott lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Abbott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McGraw.

McGraw connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Abbott throws a sloppy head kick and McGraw moves out of range easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Abbott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McGraw - the referee stops the clock and Abbott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McGraw. Abbott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

McGraw keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Abbott misses with a hook.
McGraw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Abbott throws out the jab.
Abbott tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McGraw takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Abbott misses with the combination.
Abbott checks a leg kick.
McGraw thows a body kick. Abbott tries to catch it but that hurt him.
McGraw scores with a head kick. Abbott tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Abbott tries to move into range but McGraw moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Bonesaw McGraw's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGraw lands a nice hook to Abbott's body. Abbott takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A decent looking body kick lands there for McGraw.

McGraw with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Abbott has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from McGraw.

and McGraw counters with a nice kick to the body.
Abbott looks winded!
McGraw swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Abbott shoots in and bounces McGraw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Abbott wants to control from the top but McGraw keeps moving.
McGraw is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Abbott must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Darrell Abbott will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

McGraw darts in and clinches Abbott up against the cage.
Abbott lands a right hand.
Abbott just leaning against McGraw, taking a breather.
McGraw lands an uppercut.
McGraw tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Abbott throws a punch but it's blocked by McGraw.

Abbott tightens his grip and picks McGraw up, before dumping him to the ground. McGraw manages to land in guard.
McGraw is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
McGraw keeping moving, preventing Abbott from controlling successfully.
Abbott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McGraw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Abbott throws a big right hand that misses.
Abbott is pushing down on McGraw's leg trying to pass to half guard. McGraw is fighting to maintain full guard but Abbott has managed to sneak the leg through.

Abbott is looking for a kimura but McGraw is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Abbott to get the leverage.
Abbott seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McGraw does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McGraw is trying to maintain the position but Abbott is very close to passing his half guard.
Abbott thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Abbott is looking for submissions but instead, McGraw has regained full guard.
Abbott tries to free his leg and advance position but McGraw is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Abbott is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McGraw is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McGraw has escaped and now he's on top!

McGraw is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Abbott looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McGraw has picked Abbott up and slammed him! Abbott can't keep hold of the triangle and McGraw manages to pass to side control!

Abbott is trying to control McGraw's posture but McGraw avoids it.
McGraw landing a few strikes.
Abbott gets back to half guard.
McGraw frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McGraw looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Abbott is wriggling around trying to escape.
McGraw is landing with some decent strikes but Abbott is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Abbott is squirming around, avoiding McGraw's attempts to control the action.

That has opened up Darrell Abbott's cut even more.
Abbott sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Abbott is breathing heavily.

McGraw seems to be working for a kimura but Abbott defends the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McGraw lands a nice short elbow.

Abbott walks forward, straight into a front kick from McGraw.

The cut above Darrell Abbott's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
McGraw blocks a head kick by Abbott.
Abbott tries a head kick but it misses.
Abbott clobbers McGraw with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Abbott shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGraw feints and then cracks Abbott's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abbott down.
McGraw dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McGraw moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McGraw pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Abbott takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Abbott throws a sloppy head kick and McGraw moves out of range easily.

McGraw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
McGraw lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Darrell Abbott's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bonesaw McGraw!
In his post fight interview, Bonesaw McGraw started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
