Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shawn Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Miller!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller lands a jab-cross combination.
Miller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jordan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jordan landing strikes.
Miller is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller sneaks back into half guard.

Miller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jordan pulls his head out easily.

Jordan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Miller actively working from the bottom here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Henry Miller has been cut.

Jordan prevents Miller from improving his position.
Jordan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jordan scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Miller has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Miller is not content to let Jordan control the position.

Miller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jordan pulls his head out easily.

Jordan is nestled in close to Miller, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jordan winds up and cracks Miller with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Miller has hold of Jordan's hands but Jordan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


That has opened up Henry Miller's cut even more.
Jordan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.


Miller is rocked!


The cut above Henry Miller's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jordan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Jordan wants to pass to mount but Miller is defending the position.
Jordan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Henry Miller's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Henry Miller's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Shawn Jordan!
